In February of this year, Jordan Brand introduced the Stash, a brand-new version of the Air Jordan 1. The model will soon be back with oversized nylon pouches and cargo pockets. Instead of its Quai 54 colors, it will have a (almost) all-white look.
Model’s rough appearance is enhanced by nylon ripstop
Here, too, the construction is a little bit better. Many of the overlays are made of canvas, while the base is made of durable nylon ripstop. The compartments along the heel and on the side are made of the same fabric, but they have a light, all-over print with a muted font that shows the shoe’s details in a kind of military way. Aged, yellowed soles and a red sockliner finish off the colorway. The hardware and branding are blacked out.
It’s always fun to see the Air Jordan 1 dressed up a bit instead of just being a plain sneaker for everyday wear. This classic Air Jordan silhouette gets a new look with these big pockets and pouches that look like they belong on an Air Force jacket.
