Sergio Lozano’s Nike Air Max 95 made its debut 27 years ago. Over the course of that time, the silhouette has donned a plethora of looks, the most recent of which featured lush green velvet.
This version features a nice contrast of soft and rugged textures
The newly-surfaced pair, like previous tonal iterations of the silhouette, features non-leather panels across every corner of the upper. A single suede overlay runs the length of the profiles, but it is sandwiched between a slew of velvet components that take up most of the space on the latest Air Max offering. Underfoot, the sole units deviate in a clean off-white arrangement, allowing the top-half to take center stage; outsoles also feature the titular green tone.
This elegant and timeless shoe is a treat for the eyes, the touch, and for any admirer of exquisite Nike footwear. The Nike Air Max 95’s plush green velvet upper feels silky to the touch yet is composed entirely of synthetic materials, making it extremely durable.
