As the world waits for more high-profile collaborations, the Nike Air Force 1 keeps coming out with interesting colorways on its own. The latest is a mix of off-white and metallic silver.
A shiny silver swoosh adds some visual interest without looking too flashy
Even though the new design wasn’t made with the late Virgil Abloh, its color scheme and blocking are similar to some of the Off-White leader’s work for the Swoosh. Smooth leather covers the sneaker’s famous upper, which was designed by Bruce Kilgore. The sneaker’s sole unit, which is often copied, is made of a different material and is a different color. The slight yellow finish gives the shoe a “aged” look that takes you back to the 1980s, when the Nike Air Force 1 Low first came out, and fits in with current shoe trends. The upper heel overlays and profile swooshes are covered in a shimmering silver color that stands out from the rest of the outfit but works well with the other parts.
The “Silver Swoosh” Nike Air Force 1 Low is a bold new way to shake things up. Sure, it’s risky, but it works. If you want a different colorway of this shoe, this is probably it. If I had to describe this shoe in one word, I’d say it’s unique.
