Even though models like the Air Jordan 36 Low aren’t usually thought of as “lifestyle” shoes, NIKE, Inc. continues to outfit modern basketball shoes in outfits that are now associated with casual retros.
The sneaker has a futuristic design and a classic color scheme
Recently, the Eclipse Plate-equipped proposition came out in a striking “Black” and “Metallic Gold” colorway that reminded me of the Air Jordan 6 from the “Defining Moments” Pack (DMP) from 2006. As part of a series of two-pair releases meant to honor important moments in Michael Jordan’s career, the DMP gave us an NBA championship-worthy color palette, which is now on the low-top Jordan 36 before the 2022 NBA Finals. Shiny details move the Jumpman logos, branding on the lace toggle, and text at the spine, with the biggest application happening on the “White”-colored midsole. Lastly, the herringbone-shaped tread underfoot has a semi-translucent, icy blue finish.
Keep a look out for this sneaker and spread the word about it to other collectors. Sneakerheads, fans of Air Jordan, and shoe collectors will all be interested in this release.
