Nike is all about making things better. They have been making shoes for a long time, using technologies like the waffle sole and Air units (fifty years to be exact). This month, the Swoosh’s next new performance shoe, the Spark Flyknit 1, showed up online.

Spark midsole keeps your foot in line when running

This gave us a good look at the brand’s Spark midsole technology. The new style starts with a layered, multi-panel Flyknit upper, which is shown here in a mix of black and “mushroom” parts. The back of the heel seems to be made of a thicker, more sturdy knit, while the front and middle of the foot are made to be flexible and breathable while keeping a sleek look. The Spark midsole is the main selling point here. They have two different densities of foam and a carbon fiber plate in the middle that acts as a springboard for the wearer, improving energy return and rebound for longer runs.

There’s no question that Nike’s Flyknit technology is the best in every way. The Spark Flyknit 1 is a great new running and training shoe that you can add to the list. The design is both stylish and comfortable, and people with arch problems may find this shoe to be a perfect fit.
