It’s been a while since Nike came out with a new midsole technology. The React sole was the last one. Images of the brand-new Nike Spark Flyknit “Mowabb” show that Nike has been in the lab working on a few things.

This sneaker have a unique combination of futuristic and retro elements

This sneaker takes something old and makes it new by using Nike’s famous Flyknit material to make a tan upper that has shades of blue and orange added to it. In a way that has never been seen before, the top layer of the upper wraps around the heel counter. This detail has the same kind of geometry as the new midsole, which has a hole in the middle and other sculptural shapes. The off-white, orange, and tan shades of the midsole, along with the blue Nike Swoosh on the back, also make the shoe stand out. The orange and blue Flyknit bootie on the inside of the sneaker is hidden by the tan top layer. A Nike Spark insole and a clear outsole are the finishing touches.

What do you think about the SPARK FLYKNIT Mowabb? The sleek simplicity of the design and the high-tech, adaptive parts make for a shoe that is both interesting and promising. In other words, it’s gotten Nike’s fan pretty excited!
