Tie-dyeing is a popular summertime activity, and Nike often joins in. And along with a bunch of other silhouettes, like the Air Jordan 1 Low and the Waffle Trainer, the Nike Air Presto will join in the fun with a wash of blue and red.
Bright colors and breezy fabric make it a summer must-have
Here, the brand was careful not to color the midsole, keeping it a perfect shade of white. Its built-in Swoosh, on the other hand, breaks up the simplicity with a pop of red that is almost the same shade as the rest of the upper. And instead of copying the latter’s scattered blue accents, the toe cap, cages, laces, and other branding are all black.
It’s hard to know exactly what something will look like when you make it. But now that I’ve seen this shoe, I think it was smart for NIKE to keep using tie-dye. This shoe will be liked by both kids and adults. I hope that NIKE keeps this style for a long time.
