NIKE GIVES THE “GORGE GREEN” AIR FORCE 1 LOW AN OLD LOOK AND FEEL

The 40th anniversary of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic silhouette has been celebrated in 2022 in a way that has never been done before. It seems like a new colorway is coming out every week. For its latest anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 Low tries to honor its past by going back to its original design from 1982.

The smooth leather gives the silhouette durability and flexibility

The upper is made of smooth “Pearl White” leather with added vertical stitching along the side quarter. “Gorge Green” fills the model’s most prominent features, such as the Swooshes, tongue, and back tab, which have the “NIKE AIR” logo from the 1980s. The last color ends in the outsole under a bright “Sesame” midsole and a collar lining and lacing that are the same color. The vertical binding and lower half of the foxing show exposed materials that add to the worn look.

Summary

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Gorge Green” might not appeal to younger people, but collectors will want to buy them as soon as they hit stores. The 1980s sample finish and high-quality construction will make these shoes popular.
