NIKE GETS CRAZY WITH PATTERNS AND TEXTURES ON THE AIR FORCE 1 SHADOW

The Swoosh has learned a lot about women’s streetwear styles, especially how to make models with rebuilt changes. The Nike Air Force 1 Shadow isn’t new to the Beaverton-based brand’s multi-layered environment, but the fashion-forward take on Bruce Kilgore’s design plays with patterns and textures.

The upper’s different panels are creative and fun

The different panels of the upper are made of white fabrics sewn in hexagonal, waffle, and corduroy patterns. They sit on top of a white rubber midsole with red “AIR” branding that wraps around the heel. In the rest of the space, the colors explode. The quarter overlay is a deep sky blue with a red trim, and the tongue construction is covered with a silky golden floral pattern. The different materials are also seen in the green and tartan swoosh, which goes all the way to the back tab and is stitched with “NIKE” in cursive, while the texture of the tongue is copied in the original collar build.

Termination

The Nike Air Force 1 Shadow is yet another great shoe in the Nike Air Force 1 line. This shoe is definitely not subtle or boring. It’s a fun, edgy build with an explosion of color and texture.
