As one of the best cushioning systems for runners, React technology has been used to rebuild some of The Swoosh’s most iconic silhouettes for a new kind of streetwear comfort. After a short break, the collection is back with the Nike Air Force 1 Low React. It comes in a cool set of blue colors and has a unique twist in the middle, where the Air and React technologies are split.
Smooth leather feels pricey and keeps your feet comfy
The front of the shoe and the quarter overlays have smooth navy blue leather, laces, and a small black Swoosh that are similar to the original construction of Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 design. The back half of the shoe has an inside-out look with “Sky Blue” and “Teal” translucent ripstop. A white “Swoosh” and a black “shadowed underlay” go with the white midsole in the forefoot, which moves diagonally into another semi-translucent area in the heel counter. There are small amounts of purple in the NIKE AIR logo on the back tabs, the eyelets on the upper, and the insoles. The tongue and heel pull tab are made of a darker color.
In general, the Nike Air Force 1 React is a modernized version of a classic sneaker. The shoe has gotten a whole new look, with a crazy mix of colors and cool new technology. I’m sure these will be a hit for both Nike and the person who buys them.
