Even though Luka Doncic didn’t make it to the NBA Finals in 2022, he did inspire one of NIKE, Inc.’s most exciting basketball shoes in the past year: the Jordan Zoom Separate.

Classic design, yet “Laser blue” adds an air of modernity

Even though the low-top design hasn’t made its official debut in the U.S. yet, it has been making waves in Europe and Asia, with models from the latter region wearing a rubber compound made to last outside. For its latest outfit, the Zoom Air-enabled sneaker has added touches of “Laser Blue” and “Citron” and “Kumquat” for a summery look. The foam cushioning at the midsoles is a clean “White,” which is different from the upper, which is made of different materials. The tread underfoot has a minty finish, which adds to Jordan Brand’s use of colors.

The sneaker of Air Jordan is one of many basketball shoes that are based on current and former NBA players. However, it has a big advantage over most of them: it has its own energy. It is only in the beginning stages of its life, so we can expect to see more exciting changes and improvements in the future.
