The Jordan Delta SP has been out for nearly two years now. Since its release in 2021, Jordan Brand has continuously improved the appearance of the silhouette, developing much of the initial design language. Even though it’s only halfway through 2022, a low and mid-top version of the Jordan Delta 3 have been unveiled, the latter of which was first reported on earlier today, dubbed the Jordan Delta 3 Low.

The Jordan Delta 3 Mid is made to look good and comfortable

In comparison to the Jordan Delta 3 Low, the Air Jordan Delta 3 Mid is a significantly more inventive and refined design that nevertheless combines many of the same components. Beautiful details like the grid-patterned base’s curved lines are still there, but they’ve been covered up with more suede for the time being. Reinforcement panels are added to the heel and eyestays in the same way, as well. Additionally, straps are fastened to the profile and the ankle, which mimics a sock-like fit, to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

In the end, the choice isn’t between conventional and modern designs. Both have their advantages. What makes the Delta 3 so thrilling is that it hits every point in between. It’s a throwback to a simpler time when Jordans were a status symbol, but it’s also created with the future of sneaker design in mind.
