Following the official announcement of their collaboration last month, we finally have the first shoe by Jacquemus x Nike. In two hues, the two present a modified version of the Nike Humara.

The sneaker looks upscale with its smooth leather and metallic Swoosh

Simon Porte Jacquemus gives the classic 1997 trail running sneaker a luxurious makeover, removing much of the upper’s technical paneling in favor of smooth leather and minimal suede overlays. On the bare side panels, a tiny metallic Swoosh with a gold finish appears, while Jacquemus branding is debossed on the leather tongue and heel. The Jacquemus Humara is inspired by the old ACG Pocketknife and has an eyelet strap that wraps over the heel. The original Humara’s midsole and tough outsole are retained. The Jacquemus x Nike Humara will be available in cream/beige and brown hues.

Working with Nike made a lot of sense for Jacquemus, whose designs have always been inspired by everyday life and have always been ahead of the trends. It’s a shoe with a unique design that will get a lot of attention, but it still feels very comfortable to wear in the true spirit of each brand.
