A Union LA x Air Jordan 1 homage was widely expected when Chris Gibbs was confirmed as the designer of an Air Jordan 4. Jordan Brand, on the other hand, has recently gone to great efforts to create their own version of the concept.
Bright colors and fascinating features will attract your attention
This GS-exclusive Air Jordan 4 is named “Messy Room” because it’s based on youngsters’ disorganization and the messy state of their bedroom. This colorway, like the previously mentioned AJ1, features a split design, with light blues making up the bulk of the forward side of the shoe. The collar, heel tab, and a portion of the support wings are all trimmed with white, ribbed fabrics. Its remainder is finished in a dark yellow hue, possibly replacing the “UN/LA” tag; the tongue, meanwhile, is eerily reminiscent of Union, with its spliced pattern. A final touch is provided by the red accents on the lining and sole, vivid alternating colours in the insole, and “AIR JORDAN” in a youthful multi-color on the rear of the tongue.
If you like the Air Jordan 4, this shoe will be a good fit for you. The colors work well enough, and the split design looks pretty cool. They’re a great homage to the messes that many kids make in their rooms.
