“BARCELONA” PATTERNS ARE BACK ON THE AIR JORDAN 1 ZOOM CMFT

The famous Air Jordan 1 continues to be used as a model for updated versions of Jordan Brand’s first shoe, the Jordan 1, and Jumpman has been experimenting with adding its modern cushioning systems to the latest Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT in a similar textile.

This is a new way of looking at an old favorite

The Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT “Hare” was inspired by the Dream Team’s trip to Barcelona for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The geometric color blocking on the tongue and insoles is the same as the pattern found in the shoe. Most of the retooled suede panels and overlays are an olive color called “Khaki.” The debossed Swoosh and trefoil collar logo are a dark maroon color, which stands out against the white leather vamp, quarter, and Zoom midsole. Black laces, an exposed heel counter, and a tongue tag with a ZOOM logo in “Neon Green” add a touch of color to the mostly subdued design.

Summary

The Air Jordan 1 “Barcelona” is one of the most famous shoes from Michael Jordan’s legendary career as an athlete, so it’s not a big surprise that both Jordan Brand and Michael seem to agree that it should make a comeback. This version is a nice addition to any collection of Air Jordan shoes.
