The Nike Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary will be celebrated with dozens of general releases, as well as a few high-profile collaborations.

The shoe looks like an ice cream cone

Bruce Kilgore’s famous design recently came out in a color-blocking pattern that reminded me of Neapolitan ice cream. Even though this isn’t the first time the designed-for-basketball silhouette has been seen in a three-tone outfit, the new pair keeps things pretty subdued. Most of the forefoot is a color that looks like strawberries, while the middle of the foot and the heel are off-white and brown, respectively. Profile swooshes and heel overlays give the decades-old design a textured look. The tongue labels look like they were inspired by waffle cones, and the sole unit on the bottom makes the Air Force 1 Low look all-white.

Fans love the Neapolitan colorway, and this Air Force 1 Low is a great addition to the collection. This time, it’s the classic low-top model, which comes in a unique mix of colors that should get your attention.
