The Nike Air Max 97 is currently celebrating its 25th birthday. Even though the brand hasn’t said anything about the pair coming back in “Silver Bullet” form, the sneaker has been released in a number of interesting new styles over the last seven months.
This sneaker features original Air Max 1 elements with a fresh design
Similar to an Air Max 1 we’ve seen before, the latest version of Christian Tresser’s game-changing shoe has a letterman theme. Most of the upper is a simple mix of “Obsidian” and “Midnight Navy” colors, but the branding stands out in smart “Gorge Green” and “Purple” colors. The next Air Max sneaker doesn’t have any letters that look like they belong on a varsity jacket. Instead, it has “Sail” and “Light Gum Brown” patterns on the bottom.
The Nike Air Max 97 is a very well-known running shoe. It looks great by itself, and it also works well as part of a colorful group of runners. The Nike Air Max 97 doesn’t seem like it needs many new details, but the “Letterman Pack” gives us one of the best looks at this classic runner yet.
