3 Pairs of Jordan 14 Shoes for Basketball

This is a great time to be a Jordan shoe fanatic. It seems each new week brings news of a Jordan Retro release. These days all the news appears to be centered around the epic Jordan Retro 14. This shoe will always been remembered as the last shoe Michael Jordan wore as a Chicago Bull. The shoe he wore to win his sixth and final NBA Championship. However, there is much more to this shoe than the final game in which it was worn. This Jordan Retro was released in more colorways than any other shoe in Michael’s signature sneaker line. And in the next few months Jordanheads will have the opportunity to cop three different colorways.

“Last Shot” – This colorway of the Jordan 14 is the most famous edition of them all. It was the shoe that MJ wore when he made the last shot he ever took in an NBA game. This shoe will release on December 17th, 2011. This shoe is predominately Black. The upper, midsole, tongue, inner lining, and outsole are all done in Black. A portion of the midsole as well as Jumpman logo and the number “23” are both done in Red and are placed at the heel.

“Light Graphite”- This colorway of the Jordan 14 is currently available for purchase. Light Graphite/Midnight Navy/White is the exact description that Jordan Brand uses on this colorway. The upper of the shoe features Light Graphite while Black is used on the midsole, tongue, and inner lining. The laces and outsole are done in a clean White. Midnight Navy takes care of the midsection of the shoe’s midsole.

“White/Varsity Red/Black”-This colorway will release in early 2012. White is used on the upper and outsole to create one of the cleanest looks ever seen on a Jordan. Red comprises the midsole while Black is used on the midsole and the Jordan branding at the heel. This will be one of the most anticipated Jordan releases of the upcoming year.

All of the Jordan 14 releases will use a full-grain leather upper with EVA reinforcement for enhanced durability. Nike Phylon and an Air Sole are placed in the midsole and create the ultimate in cushioning. Maximum traction control is created by the solid rubber outsole that is used on the shoe.

Of all the Jordan houston astros polo for basketball, the Jordan Retro 14 just may be the most historical. It was the shoe that was worn by Michael for all of one and a half games. The last shoe he wore before leaving the game of professional basketball for the second time. A retirement that came all too soon.
